Do I have to come with someone? Absolutely not. In fact, most people don’t. This is your permission slip to stop waiting for someone else to be ready. You’ll arrive solo and very quickly realise… everyone else did too. What if I feel awkward or don’t know anyone? You will. For about… 5 minutes. This isn’t surface-level small talk. It’s real connection, fast. Is this just another wellness retreat where we sit around talking about our feelings? Nope. No fluff. No pretending to be zen if you’re not. Take messy action. Get out of your head and into your life. Actually do the things you’ve been putting off. Yes, there’s reflection. But there’s also laughter, movement, adventure, and those “why don’t I live like this more often?” moments. Is this worth it? Let me say this straight: You can spend another year thinking about changing your life… Or you can give yourself a weekend that actually shifts something. This isn’t just a trip. It’s a pattern interrupt. And those are the moments that change everything. What about logistics? For now, you're coming to stay at Newlands Adventure Centre, just outside of Keswick. There's free parking, a train station 25 minutes away and lots & lots of sheep. We'll give you more info closer to the date! What do I bring with me? A mixture of comfy clothing and adventure attire. You'll receive a kit list closer to the time, but if you want to think ahead, a good pair of hiking boots, some PJ's and a fleece is a great start. Will I get my own room? If you have elected it as an add-on then yes. Otherwise you'll share with no more than one other person - btw women have found their new best friends via this method. What level of health do I need to be? Whilst we aim to be as inclusive as possible, there will be a larger degree of outdoor activities so a decent level of physical health is advised.
